Why it’s called “jelly” 🍯

Even though it’s used just like jam — spread on toast, pancakes, or scones — quince jelly is a little different.

Jam is made using crushed fruit, so it’s thick and has bits of fruit in it.
Jelly, on the other hand, is made from the strained juice of the fruit. That’s why quince jelly looks clear and shiny — smooth enough to spread easily and full of pure fruit flavour!

So it’s still a delicious fruity spread, just extra silky and glossy — the posh cousin of jam!

Picked straight from Dada’s allotment, these golden quinces have been lovingly turned into smooth, glistening jelly by Eesa, age 9.

Quince is a rare, old-fashioned fruit that looks a bit like an apple or pear but tastes like something in between — sweet, floral, and slightly tangy. When cooked, it turns a beautiful rosy colour and fills the kitchen with the smell of honey and sunshine. ☀️

Each jar has been carefully made by hand — from washing and cutting the quinces, to stirring the pan, straining the juice, and pouring the jelly. Even the labels were designed by his sister!

Perfect on warm toast, scones, or with cheese, this jelly is full of natural goodness and made with love.
